A Relaxing Experience for New Parents! I recently had a chat with Megan from Birth Your Way. You can read that conversation HERE. During our discussion, I explained how I run my newborn photography studio in Columbus. Being in the photography world, I am very in tune with how most photography studios work. I guess I take it for granted that not everyone knows what goes on during a newborn session. Megan was surprised to learn that a newborn photography session can actually be a relaxing experience for moms! So, I thought I better inform our readers what you can expect from a newborn session in Columbus, Ohio! Stress Level of a Columbus Newborn Session A newborn photography session in Columbus does not need to feel stressful! In fact, I have worked very hard to make my studio feel inviting and warm for new families. Some things you can expect when you walk in include sweet aromas in the air, a refrigerator stocked with soft drinks and water, coffee, and snacks awaiting you. There are also two different sitting areas for parents and family to relax during their baby's newborn photography session. I even provide a bed in case the new parents are exhausted from late night feedings! I strongly encourage new parents to sit back and relax. I don't want your newborn photography session to feel like work or one more thing that needs to get done, on top of all of the other tasks that go along with bringing a new baby into our lives. I think this is what surprised Megan the most during our conversation. She mentioned that when she birthed her babies, leaving the house to go to a photoshoot just sounded daunting. She said if she had known it would a relaxing and enjoyable experience, she would have done it! As you are adding to your to-do list in preparation for the new baby, don't let stress be a reason to not capture this special time with a professional newborn photography session in Columbus. I promise you, once you enter my studio, I will take over. You will get 2-3 hours of relaxation. The lights are dimmed, the lullabies are playing, and you can just live in the moment of peace. What to Expect at Your Newborn Photography Session in Columbus My newborn photography studio is just off of Polaris Parkway in Columbus, Ohio. It is centrally located to all of the neighboring Columbus suburbs. I am in the South Old State Business Center with plenty of parking. When my clients arrive, I hear gasps of surprise and awe at two times. First, when they see all of the beautiful artwork. The adorable babies and stunning expectant mothers fill the walls. The second and loudest gasp is when they walk into the shooting space and see the wardrobes of newborn props and outfits. Mothers especially love to go straight to the outfits and accessories and admire how tiny and adorable they are. When you arrive, you will see that I have already set out props and outfits for the session. I have selected items based on a questionnaire that I send to all of my newborn clients. However, it's not unusual for clients to see an additional item in the studio that they want to incorporate. That's not problem at all. We can easily make adjustments. It's your baby's session, after all! Resulting Art from Your Columbus Newborn Photography Session Now that you know your newborn photography session can be a relaxing and stress-free experience, you can appreciate the art! I know everyone is telling you this, but it is so true - the time will fly by! Those newborn days seem to go by in the blink of an eye. You think you will remember every detail, but I promise you that it gets harder with time. You growing child starts making new memories and those newborn days get harder to recall. That's why my job is so important! You will not regret hiring a professional newborn photographer! It is my job to freeze this moment in time for you. I am very meticulous about the details. From flat fingers to good angles, my job is to represent your baby in their true likeness. And then when you see the final images, you will remember these days! Your precious baby capturing in time! Schedule Early Due to the unpredictable nature of births, I am limited on how many newborn clients I can take each month. For the best chance of getting on my schedule, contact me in the beginning of your second trimester so I can add your due date to my calendar. If you are past that point, no worries. Just reach out to me and I will see what I can do. You can contact me through my website: www.staceyashphoto.com or sending an e-mail to [email protected].
