Let’s get to know each other
Maintaining maternal mental health is at the forefront of everything we do here at birth your way.
We do this by combining childbirth education, birth doula support, and sleep support.
Childbirth education arms you with the knowledge you’ll need to make truly informed, confident decisions through pregnancy, birth and parenthood, and is known to increase your chances of a vaginal birth.
The next layer of care is our birth doula support. Having a doula with you at your birth reduces the chances of interventions, and significantly reduces your chances of suffering from postpartum mood disorders. We serve from a place of experience, while honoring your birth as your own unique experience.
The last layer is sleep support. Our main focus during the first months postpartum is to make sure everyone is sleeping. Sleep improves mental clarity, making the transition into parenthood easier to navigate. Sleep speeds the healing process, and is a major element in making sure your body heals properly, and is able to produce milk. Also, getting enough sleep significantly reduces your chances of suffering postpartum mood disorder, and helps to balance your moods.
I have many services that help facilitate a smooth transition into parenthood. Use the button below to check them out, and t0 schedule a call so we can talk about the kind of support you need.
