Confused by all of the conflicting information out there about pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum and baby care?
Want to make sure you're fully informed and prepared for the birth of your baby?
Looking for a class taught by folks in your community?

Intuitive Childbirth is an in person, interactive, introspective and informative childbirth class in Columbus, Ohio. It includes everything that a traditional childbirth class would: birth anatomy, hormones, stages of labor, and how to cope, but with one big difference.

Intuitive Childbirth is based off of the truth that your body knows how to tell you what it needs. During this childbirth class series, you'll learn how to tap into your intuitive self through movement, visualization, meditation, and creative activities.

By the end of this series, you and your partner will have a visually appealing birth plan, and you will have the skills needed to make confident choices, connect with your body, and resilience to cope with childbirth, postpartum and early parenting.

Shayne Moon, Moon Goddess Wellness

Shayne Moon desires to live in an equitable world where women's circles are common practice, and the question, "Where are you at in your cycle?" is regularly asked amongst friends over dinner and not just in the doctor's office.

While attending yoga teacher training in India, she had the epiphany that it was her life's purpose to create opportunities for women to heal, grow and empower themselves. She is a reiki master and a certified Wise Woman Way Facilitator. Which is basically a fancy way to say she knows how to facilitate trauma-informed events for women, such as women’s circles. It’s her dream to run retreats around the world that enable women to get in touch with their deepest, most divine and aligned desires and tap into their inner strength to go after what they want.

When she's not gushing over the divine femme in circle, leading a trauma-informed reiki session, or working on her best savasana, you can find her swooning over K-pop romance dramas, weeping nostalgically for nearly every aspect of 90's pop culture, or manifesting her next big travel adventure.

Alyssa Broadwater MS, RD, LD, CSCSa

After working in the nutrition space as a private practice dietitian for several years, I started to realize how much the conventional recommendations leave us hanging when it comes to fertility, prenatal, and postpartum nutrition. This is arguably the time in life when nutrition matters most but few providers talk much about nutrition at all. At most, you may received a handout on what foods to avoid. But that leaves you not knowing what to actually eat. Because our current recommendations on prenatal nutrition are lacking, I went headfirst into the literature to learn more about this topic. Unfortunately, it’s not one we learned much about in my nutrition classes!

I realized I loved working with this population and wanted to help women and couples on their journey to having a healthy baby. In addition to pregnancy related nutrition, I also specialize in eating disorders, so I want to make food non stressful and pleasurable again. Food shouldn’t be a chore. Food is not just fuel, it is our way to show love, to connect with others, to change our quality of life, and to impact the future health of our children (and even grandchildren).
